Costumer Reviews

This is a very well built, nicely designed and durable compact microwave (I've owned it for over a year and a half). As a father of three babies our microwaves have a pretty hard life being used throughout the day including heating up numerous bottles of milk. Our last microwave (a Morphy Richards) lasted only 2 years before unceremoniously giving up the ghost in a flash of sparks. We also have a fairly limited amount of space within our kitchen so ideally we wanted to combine durability with a compact design. Once delivered - we were pleasantly surprised by how big the inner capacity of the oven actually is: Whilst we would mostly be using the microwave for the aforementioned bottles of milk, it can also easily handle a reasonably sized round casserole dish. The design and ease of use is very simple and intuitive. The only minor gripe would be the automatic defrosting setting which requires you to refer to the manual to find the corresponding number (1-7 I think!) to the particular food stuff you are defrosting as the Microwave will only display a number. This is clearly a slightly more expensive compact microwave, but so far I'd definitely say it was worth the higher outlay.

When I first setup this microwave I was impressed by the build quality and the styling. And also the fact that it's been designed with a sensible interior height (so you can get a Covent Garden soup carton in there without tilting it!)

However, I was not impressed with the scroll wheel as it took too long to get to a minute. Also, the beeping timer went on for too long after cooking had stopped.

Thanks to a comment on my original review, both of these annoyances have now been remedied. See the comments for more details, but essentially 1) press the power setting button first to set the timer to 1:00, from which you can then scroll up or down and 2) press and hold the start button for 6 seconds to change the beeper duration.
